Ibrahim Lubega “Pasuwa” Scores Lead in the FMU Sprint Championship Round Two at Festino in Mukono

The second round of the FMU Sprint Championship took place on 25 September 2022 and it was all about Ibrahim Lubega commonly known as “Pasuwa” who won the day. Lubega and his co-driver Shakira Nabwami took first place in their Toyota Corolla Fx with an impressive time of 05:27.2.

The event took place in Mukono at Festino city and Lubega came with the zeal and passion for that first place. In second place was Mansur Lubega and co-driver Ritah Lugayizi in a Toyota Levin, they did a time of 05:52.3 and had a very slim time difference with Ibrahim Lubega of 25seconds.

It was a good day for female co-drivers as the third-placed driver of the day, Sabiti Muyanja was navigated by Mariam Nambasa. They did a time of 06:07.1.

Fan favorites, Mark Lubega and Oscar Ntambi who is currently leading the 2WD sprint standings placed fifth and sixth respectively and sadly Mike Mukula Jr placed sixteenth after some technical issues befell the crew the also team got penalized one minute. Ronald Ssebuguzi is the lead on the sprint standings but he did not take part in the event. The drivers will be gearing up for the last two events on the FMU calendar, the CMC and MOSAC national rallies.
